Can You Spot the Missing Link?
by Rochelle Grffin
Have you ever gone on a “diet,” lost weight, and regained it again? Have you ever started a weight-loss journey only to find yourself discouraged and ready to quit? If you are like the average American, the answer to both questions is a resounding YES. In fact, I’d have to answer yes myself. Because I’ve been there, I find myself on a quest to figure out WHY people fall into these traps.
We know that a fitness routine paired with great nutrition will result in weight-loss. If we know it, however, then why do people struggle to achieve and maintain their results? I am currently conducting a case study with a group of moms. These moms all have various weight-loss goals in mind, but they each have the challenge of…well…being moms. We are only about ¼ of the way through the study, but I’m already seeing a specific pattern.
Each mom has a fitness program that she’s following, along with a nutritional plan. Each mom is experiencing results. There is, however, a huge difference between 2 groups of moms, and these 2 groups formed on their own without my doing.
Group 1 is plugged into my exclusive, private Facebook Support Group.
Group 2 is not, although they are invited to.
Group 1 is engaged, supporting one another, talking about their meal plans, discussing setbacks, celebrating successes, connecting.
Group 2 is not.
Group 1 is going strong with a fierce determination to reach their goals.
Group 2 is frustrated, thinking about quitting…even though they ARE seeing results.
A mom from Group 1 emailed me “It’s working! Loving Insanity and Shakeology! Whooo hoooo! It is great to see the daily pics of food, chatter about success, and see everyone pushing forward with workouts. We can do this. We are doing this!”
A mom from Group 2 emailed me “Not seeing very much progress. Discouraging as I worked my ass off…”
Yet, BOTH moms have made steady, healthy progress in their results. Interesting, isn’t it?
People, we are not meant to go through life alone. It’s not how we were created. Sure we can try to go about our journey on our own, but typically it ends in sadness, loneliness, and hardship. This is why support is crucial in reaching our health & fitness goals.
Fitness + Nutrition can = Success
But
Fitness + Nutrition + Support = Success for Life!
Here is the wonderful thing…whether you are in my case study or not, you don’t have to go through your fitness journey alone. Don’t set yourself up for failure. Don’t half follow breadcrumbs that have been laid out for you in the past…you will get lost. There is already a proven path with a guide willing to show you the way.
Are you ready to get started? Are you ready to do this the right way? Are you ready to tackle the weight-loss monster once and for all? I would be honored to help you. Remember, you must have ALL components of the formula. Not sure where to start? No worries. I’ve made it easy for you. Go to my Getting Started page for the simple steps that will lead you down the path of success!

Very interesting!
It is great to be reminded about support. We need it, right?
Yet, many of us want to be “strong” and do it on our own!
I was listening to a series of lectures by a nutritionist recently.
Will-power is great! But in the battle of will-power versus biology, the bodies physiology has been winning for years.
We need all the support we can get!!!
